There Was

The Via Appia for the soldiers,
The Silk Route for the merchants and
The Hump for the aviators.

But

What will be our path during the New Year?

Fearful and Wondering

THE PATH

The path we walk
Can be in this earthly life
An avenue of idle talk
Or a road with many a strive.

Whatever our trail
Arriving at the eternity gate
Pray for faith that stands and will not fail
Receiving the gift of heavenly fate.
